Port Townsend: Port budget for 2004 appears to be in the black

PORT TOWNSEND — Port of Port Townsend commissioners spent much of their Wednesday workshop and meeting time discussing the 2004 budget.

Business Manager Donald Taylor said the 2004 budget allocates about $3.9 million in expenses — about the same as this year.

The Port expects about $4.7 million in revenue for the year.

Taylor will work to assemble a more finalized budget to be addressed at the Port commission’s Oct. 22 meeting.
