Hoh Tribe to host community conversation

PORT TOWNSEND — Jefferson County will finish its Community Conversations series from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Scuba divers Shawn Augustine, left, Chris Van Damme and Jackie Selbitschka, all with Reef Check, an international non-governmental organization dedicated to the conservation of two ecosystems — tropical coral reefs and temperate kelp forests — place instruments recovered from a buoy in a bucket of water on Tuesday to keep them wet until the data can be downloaded.
