Henry Wyborney, a past member of their class, was the Washington state high jump champion that year.

The Port Angeles High School class of 1953 held their 70th reunion recently at Traylors in PA. 15 were in attendance from a class of 145  70 years ago. This class was suppose to be the first class at the new high school building on Park Ave, but construction delays made them the last class to attend the old Roosevelt High School where the county courthouse is now located.
