Port Angeles icon Scooter Chapman has been named the Grand Marshall of the Port Angeles Fourth of July Grand Parade. The Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce recently made that announcement. After 70 years on the air at radio KONP Scooter retired from broadcasting recently. The PAHS class of ’52 grad has followed sports all of his broadcasting life and most recently was the MC at the Duck Derby.
