PORT ANGELES — The Peninsula College men’s basketball team can wrap up the division championship for the first time in four years with a win tonight at home against Skagit Valley.
This is the Pirates’ final home game of the season.
“We’re hoping for a great crowd to cheer us on,” said Peninsula head coach Peter Stewart.
Peninsula, 12-2 in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges North Division and 18-6 overall, has a two-game lead over Seattle and Edmonds community colleges with two games left. The Pirates last won the division title in the 1999-2000 season.
