Camp Beausite benefit

Children and adults with special needs are the beneficiaries of a charity golf tournament put on by the Kiwanis Club of Port Townsend at Port Townsend Golf Club on Saturday.

Proceeds from Saturday’s tournament will fund scholarships for those with special needs to attend Camp Beausite NW near Chimacum this summer.

This is the 23rd year Kiwanis Club of Port Townsend has hosted the tournament, according to Kiwanis member and event chair Bill Metzer.

Players can sign-in starting at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start set for 10 a.m.

Players will have a shot at four hole-in-one prizes during the round — $10,000 cash, a set of Callaway irons (3-pitching wedge), roundtrip domestic airfare for two or an LED flat-screen television.

Each golfer also will be given a certificate for two golf clubs, with players responsible for shipping and handling.

Entry fees are $75 per player and include range and lunch.
