BOYS BASKETBALL: Forks’ Adams headlines All-Peninsula Basketball Team

FORKS — Forks senior post Marky Adams headlines the 2016-17 All-Peninsula Boys Basketball Team.
Adams was selected All-Peninsula MVP by area coaches and the sports staff of the Peninsula Daily News.
Fellow team members are: Luke Angevine, Port Angeles; Anthony Bitegeko, Neah Bay; Parker Browning, Forks; Kenrick Doherty Jr., Neah Bay; Payton Glasser, Sequim; Berkley Hill, Port Townsend; Grayson Peet, Port Angeles; Noah McGoff, Port Angeles; Detrius Kelsall, Port Townsend; Rweha Munyagi, Neah Bay and Kyle Benedict, Port Angeles.
Forks coach Rick Gooding was named coach of the year after leading the Spartans (16-7) to within one district win of a berth in the state regional round. The groundwork for successful season was laid last summer with visits to team camps and participation in summer league hoops.
