FORKS — Forks senior post Marky Adams headlines the 2016-17 All-Peninsula Boys Basketball Team.
Adams was selected All-Peninsula MVP by area coaches and the sports staff of the Peninsula Daily News.

Forks coach Rick Gooding was named coach of the year after leading the Spartans (16-7) to within one district win of a berth in the state regional round. The groundwork for successful season was laid last summer with visits to team camps and participation in summer league hoops.

Anthony Bitegeko, Neah Bay (Senior) Forward — NOL Defensive POY worked hard on both ends of floor. Put up 10 ppg, 7.7 reb., 2.2 steals.
Parker Browning, Forks (Senior) Guard — Big guard totaled 16.1 ppg, 7 rpg, 3.5 apg, 1.7 spg. Scored over 1,000 pts in career. 1st team All-Evergreen League.
Kenrick Doherty Jr., Neah Bay (Senior) Guard — North Olympic League MVP was AP All-State Hon. Mention. Put up 12 ppg, 6.5 reb., 4.2 apg.
Payton Glasser, Sequim (Junior) Guard/Forward — Inside and outside scorer averaged 18 pts, 6.2 reb., 1.7 assists and 1.5 steals. First-team All-Olympic League 2A selection.
Berkley Hill, Port Townsend (Senior) Guard — Olympic League 1A Co-MVP avg. 17 pts., 3.6 reb. 3.2 assists and 3.2 steals per game for division-champion Redhawks.
Detrius Kelsall, Port Townsend (Senior) Forward — Shared Olympic League 1A MVP with Hill. Put up 16.9 points, 9.1 reb., 4.2 assists, 3. 8 steals. Highest point total 35 vs. Klahowya.
Rweha Munyagi, Neah Bay (Junior) Guard/Forward — Versatile athlete able to play every position for Red Devils. Posted 11.7 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 3.6 apg, 2.7 steals and 1 block for Red Devils.
Grayson Peet, Port Angeles (Senior) Guard — All-Olympic League 2A 2nd team pick led league in assists and was 3rd in steals. Totaled 10 ppg, 6 apg, 3 spg.
Luke Angevine, Port Angeles (Senior) Forward — When he was on he was lights out for Riders. Avg. 12 ppg, 7 rpg in earning Rangy shooter drained 7 treys in win vs. Centralia.
Noah McGoff, Port Angeles (Senior) Guard — Underrated scorer put up 10 ppg, 5 rpg, 2 spg. Had games with 33 and 30 points. Team captain. Honorable mention all-league.
Kyle Benedict, Port Angeles (Sophomore) Guard — PA’s offensive MVP stepped his game up in district play, averaging 22 points. Shot 41 percent on 3-pointers.
