ATHLETES OF THE WEEK: Ruth Moss, Allie Greene, Neah Bay girls basketball

The Neah Bay girls weren’t able to place this year at the 1B state basketball tournament, but the sky is the limit next year as they return all of their players except for senior Ce’J Gagnon.

Two of the returnees are freshman Allie Greene and junior Ruth Moss. Greene averaged 13 points a game during the state tournament, scoring 18 points against Oakesdale. Moss averaged 14 points a game in the tournament’s two games, scoring 19 points against Curlew.

With Courtney Swan expected to return from injury to join Allie and Laila Greene and Ruth and Ryana Moss, expect big things from the Neah Bay girls next season.
