AREA SPORTS BRIEFS: Big weekend at BMX park; fun run in PA

Big weekend coming up at Lincoln BMX

PORT ANGELES — More than 300 riders will be expected at the Lincoln Park BMX Track for its biggest weekend of the year.

On Friday, there will be local single-point races. Registration will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Cost is $10.

Saturday will be the Race for Life double-point race. Registration is from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and the cost is $20. Sunday will be Gold Cup qualifier/state triple-point races. Registration is from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Cost is $35.
