Elwha tribal bazaar
PORT ANGELES — The Elwha Klallam tribe will host its annual Christmas Bazaar today and Saturday.
The bazaar will feature handmade goods at the tribal museum, 2851 Lower Elwha Road.
Hours will be from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. today and from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
Crafts, gifts
PORT ANGELES — The Holiday Craft & Gift Market will offer unique gifts from
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
The market will be at the Carpenters Hall, 416 E. First St.
Locally made jams and jellies, jewelry, crocheted hats, fantasy flower recycled glass art and sewn products will be for sale.
Fine arts center
PORT ANGELES — Original artwork from Northwest artists is available at the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center, 1203 E. Lauridsen Blvd.
The current exhibition, “Art Convergence,” showcases artwork by contemporary artists throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Their paintings, sculptures and mixed-media work is for sale.
The fine arts center’s gift shop has additional handcrafted items ranging from ceramics to jewelry to prints.
Gallery hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays.
Holiday flea market
PORT ANGELES — About 15 local vendors offer wares in a holiday flea market in the downtown building that once housed Maurices, the women’s clothing store.
Handcrafted furniture, glassware, jewelry, household gift items, CDs, collectibles and vintage items are among the items on sale inside the building at 104 W. First St., next to the “Olympic Visions” mural, Conrad Dyar Memorial Fountain and community Christmas tree.
The flea market is run by John Nelson, longtime North Olympic Peninsula event planner, tour guide and former Peninsula Daily News music columnist.
Its hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and from 11 a.m. to
4 p.m. Sundays. It will be open through Sunday, Jan. 4.
The market is also a dropoff site for toys for the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program and nonperishable food items for the Port Angeles Food Bank.
Proceeds from sales at a vendor booth sponsored by Brocante Antique Mall, a downtown business, go to Operation Uplift, the cancer support organization.

SEQUIM
Shop, eat, hear
SEQUIM — A specialty gift sale will take place above Nourish, the restaurant at 1345 S. Sequim Ave., from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
Jan and Kay Kepley’s photo cards, Paulette Hill’s jewelry, Dave Toman’s flutes, Nancy Morris’ shawls and gluten-free baked goods by Tanya and Dave Rose will be for sale.
Local singer-songwriter and keyboard player Kate Lily will perform at intervals, and local author Lindy MacLaine will read from her forthcoming book, The Curse of the Neverland, with a limited number of pre-published copies for sale.
Alpaca open house
SEQUIM — The Happy Valley Alpaca Ranch, 4629 Happy Valley Road, will host a Christmas open house from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
All are welcome to the free event.
The barns, pastures and store will be open.
Shoppers can mingle with the alpacas and partake of hot wassail and cookies.

Holiday craft sale
FORKS — The Forks Open Aire Market will host a holiday craft sale at JT’s Sweet Stuffs, 80 N. Forks Ave., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Handcrafted items will be on sale in the conference in the back.
The market is hosting the Forks Abuse Giving Tree for the day as well as providing a box for nonperishable food for the Forks Food Bank.
The table-space rental fee of $5 will be donated to the Giving Tree.

Show, sale and benefit
PORT TOWNSEND — “Celebration of the Senses,” a two-day show and sale, is set from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Saturday.
Woodworker Helga Winter will donate 25 percent of revenue from the sale at her studio at 508 Lawrence St. to the Jefferson Land Trust.
Winter’s art media are trees, felled by storms, disease or construction; she turns their wood into ornate rattles, bowls and other sculptures.

Kids holiday shop
CHIMACUM — Youngsters can shop “secretly” for family and friends at the Kids Holiday Gift Shop in the Chimacum Elementary School library, 10 West Valley Road, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
At this annual event, gifts are priced under $10, with most being in the 25-cent to $5 range.
Adult volunteers will help each young person with shopping, and high school students will help with gift-wrapping.
Movies and games will help pass the waiting time for parents.
