Placing the last girder

Iron workers in reflective vests stand by as the final structural piece for the Field Arts & Events Hall, adorned with flags of the United States and Canada and decorated with a traditional evergreen topping tree, is hoisted into place during a topping-off ceremony on Wednesday night in Port Angeles.

The beam had earlier been on public display for interested people to sign their names on the girder.
