PORT ANGELES — Soroptimist International of Port Angeles-Noon Club presented STAR Awards to four juniors from Port Angeles on April 12 at a luncheon at Joshua’s Restaurant.

According to a press release, the awards recognize high school juniors for exceptional performance.

The students recognized were Angeliyah Vlasak from Lincoln High School, Sammi Bates for extracurricular/community service, Emma Murphy for Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps and Emma Weller for vocal music.
