MIKE MCALEER, senior adviser and a managing broker of Team McAleer with the RE/MAX Fifth Avenue real estate agency in Sequim, received the Olympic Leader Award for 2011 from the Clallam County Economic Development Council at its annual dinner meeting at the Red Lion Hotel in Port Angeles on Friday.
The award recognizes a business leader who has had a significant impact on the economic growth and stability of Clallam County. McAleer has been a longtime board member and officer of the Clallam EDC and many other groups.
With him in the photo is Ron Allen, tribal chairman and CEO of the Jamestown S’Klallam tribe.
Allen spoke to the annual meeting about the tribe’s 7 Cedars Casino and its other businesses on the North Olympic Peninsula.
