Anyone spending a day at Cape Flattery or Hobuck Beach will notice something new — a $7 charge.
Beginning Wednesday, the Makah tribe will charge for access to recreational areas.
A recreational pass will be sold at the Makah tribal center, Makah Marina and Washburn’s General Store.
Every motor vehicle will be required to display the permit on their dash or from its rearview mirror. Permits will be good for the remainder of the calendar year.
