Monday Musicale names 2022 scholarship winners

PORT ANGELES — Monday Musicale has announced the winners of its 2022 music scholarships.

Violinist Adam Weller and vocalist Avery Grayle Saul tied for first place, they were each awarded a $2,000 scholarship.

Vocalists Olivia Wray and Liam Clark Reuel Getzin tied for second place, each was awarded a $1,000 scholarship.

The judges were Jonathan Pasternack, director and conductor of the Port Angeles Symphony; Vicky Helwick, vocalist and music teacher; and Vern Foschett, retired director of the Sequim High School Band.
