PORT ANGELES — Port Angeles School District officials will conduct a free public tour of Stevens Middle School, 1139 W. 14th St., from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. today.

If a $52.6 million, five-year capital projects levy measure is approved by voters in the Feb. 11 election, it would fund expansion and remodeling of Stevens plus safety and security improvements at schools across the district.

Port Angeles School Superintendent Martin Brewer and Nolan Duce, district director of facilities and maintenance, will answer questions about the levy and guide the tour of Stevens Middle School.

Attendees are asked to arrive by 5:25 p.m. Park in the lot above the school and walk down the steps to the main building.

The tour and Q&A session will begin in the school library. Look for signs.

This is the last of five tours and Q&A sessions conducted at Stevens since January.
