Kalakala mural vandalized in Port Angeles

The Kalakala mural by artist Cory Ench has been a downtown Port Angeles feature for more than 25 years.

The three-dimensional dog in the mural was vandalized earlier this month.

The mural’s artist is working on a repair, said John Brewer, who led an effort to reseal the mural owned by Nor’Wester Rotary Club in 2019.

Police have no leads on who did the damage, said Deputy Chief Jason Viada.
