KEITH THORPE/PENINSULA DAILY NEWS A work crew from Lakeside Industries lays down a layer of asphalt to patch a sinkhole in the pavement at the intersection of Fifth and Lincoln streets in Port Angeles on Friday morning after the water from a broken 4-inch main collapsed the road surface on Wednesday morning. Port Angeles reopened the intersection on Friday afternoon. Ten customers lost water briefly but were back on the system and off a boil-water advisory by late Thursday.
