SEQUIM — The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation into the death of a 50-year-old woman found at a residence off Woodcock Road.
Chief Criminal Deputy Amy Bundy said deputies learned of the event when a person living at the residence called 911 on Tuesday to report an unresponsive woman.
The sheriff’s office is treating the death as suspicious, Bundy said.
“We don’t know we have a crime,” she said.
A determination will be made pending the results of an autopsy, which will take about a week, and a pathology report, which the sheriff’s office should receive about two to three weeks after that, Bundy said.
