Body found in marina in Port Townsend

PORT TOWNSEND — Police report that the body of a 49-year-old man was found floating in the water of Boat Haven this morning.

Port Townsend Police Department spokesman Officer Luke Bogues said a cause of death hasn’t been determined yet, and police don’t have any evidence of a crime.

The man’s body was discovered at about 8 a.m.

The man is a Port Townsend resident who lived aboard a boat at the marina, Bogues said. His identity has not been released.
