SEQUIM — The active search for a 73-year-old man reported missing south of Sequim has been suspended, according to the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office.

Danny G. Brewer was last seen at 9 a.m. Friday at his residence on the 300 block of Easterly Road, south of Sequim, the Sheriff’s Office said. He is described as standing about 5-feet-6-inches tall and weighing 170 pounds with hazel eyes.

After searchers combed 3 square kilometers, they called off the active search, said Sgt. Eric Munger on Tuesday.

On Sunday, over 40 searchers, four drones and one dog team continued the search after Clallam County Search and Rescue looked through the area with about 20 searchers, six dogs and a drone on Saturday.

Anyone with information is urged to call emergency dispatchers at 9-1-1 or non-emergency 360-417-2459, Option 1.
