Soroptimists donate to Port Angeles Food Bank

PORT ANGELES — Soroptimist International of Port Angeles recently donated $1,160 to the Port Angeles Food Bank.

The donation, raised as part of a Dignity for Women contest between eight Olympic Peninsula Soroptimist clubs, will be used to purchase feminine hygiene products.

The noon club raised $1,040 in donations and also donated the $120 prize they earned for winning the contest.

Cutline: My niece Brooke Stromberg and Lacy, both 15, make a winning turn during a barrel racing competition during an April game show in 2008  at JeffCo fairgrounds.
