Kids book club meeting Wednesday

PORT ANGELES — The Kids Book Club will discuss “Sadiq and the Bridge Builders” by Siman Nuurali at its inaugural meeting at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The club, for first- through third-graders and their caregivers, will meet at the North Olympic Library System’s Port Angeles branch, 2210 S. Peabody St.

Copies of the book are available for pick up at the library.

The monthly discussions, which also include an activity based on the book, are set for the second Wednesday of each month.

In November, the club will discuss “Narwhal: Unicorn of the Sea” by Ben Clanton; copies of the book will available for pick up beginning October 12, after the first book discussion.

For more information, call the library at 360-417-8500, email youth@nols.org or visit www.nols.org.
