PORT ANGELES — The DAISY Foundation has recognized the staff at Olympic Medical Cancer Center’s infusion team with its DAISY award.

The infusion team provides chemotherapy treatments to cancer patients.

The award recognizes the extraordinary, compassionate nursing care provided to patients and families. The foundation, which takes its name from the acronym Diseases Attacking the Immune System, was established by the family of J.
