Friends of Fort Flagler host lecture on river otters

MARROWSTONE ISLAND — Sara Penhallegon will speak about the life of river otters at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

The free online lecture is sponsored by the Friends of Fort Flagler.

Penhallegon will discuss the life cycle of river otters and explain some reasons why they may end up in wildlife rehabilitation facilities.

Penhallegon is the executive director of Center Valley Animal Rescue in Quilcene.
