Beekeeping course set to begin

CHIMACUM — The East Jefferson County Beekeepers Association will conduct its Beginning Beekeeping Course from Saturday, Feb. 11, through Saturday, April 8, with hands-on apiary visit Saturday, April 22..

The two-hour classes will be conducted every other Saturday at the Chimacum Grange, 9572 Rhody Drive and also will stream online.

Although the course is free, attendees must be members of the association, which costs $24 per year for individuals or $36 per year for a family.
