Imagined Reality Improv returns to OTA

Troupe member to teach classes

SEQUIM — Imagined Reality is scheduled to be back in Sequim at 7 p.m. Saturday in Olympic Theatre Arts’ Gathering Hall.

Tickets to the Imagined Reality show at OTA, 414 N. Sequim Ave., are $10 for the general public. They are available at OTA’s box office from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, or online at www.OlympicTheatreArts.org.

Imagine Reality’s varied performers from Bainbridge include a scientist, two lawyers, a classical musician, a human resources guru, a marketing expert and a teenage student.

See Imagined Reality’s page on Facebook for the troupe’s latest dates and details.

Troupe member Nancy Peterson also will return to OTA to teach improvisation in a series of classes starting April 1.

“Improv to me is the art of spontaneity,” Peterson said. “It is quick, uninhibited thinking and doing what comes naturally to children, but becomes suppressed as we mature.

“So much of what young children do is hilarious to adults. Allowing that freedom of expression in an adult setting is even funnier.”

For more information about the show or classes, call OTA at 360-683-7326.
