Guitarist to play at downtown Port Townsend gallery

PORT TOWNSEND — The Beatles classic “Till There Was You,” Antonio Carlos Jobim’s “Girl from Ipanema” — these tunes are part of guitarist Scott Braman’s repertoire.

He’ll offer a couple of hours of free music this Sunday at Northwind Art’s Jeanette Best Gallery, 701 Water St. Braman, aka Scott the Busker of Port Townsend, will play from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

“Burst of Color,” the new show at the gallery, will surround him.

There is no charge to explore the exhibit and listen to the live music.

“I want to support the visual arts any way I can,” said Braman, who plays his own interpretations of jazz and other genres on his acoustic guitar.
