Competitors jockey for position in the Extreme Slug Racing in Joyce this weekend. The event raised a record $801 in donations to Clallam County Fire District No.4. The event is sponsored by Family Kitchen of Joyce, Wilder Auto, Fogtown Coffee and Bedford Sodas. No slugs were harmed and they were released back to the wild after the races.
