Courtesy photo                                The 7th-grade Peninsula Threat started off the local tournament season by going 4-0 in the 7th/8th grade bracket, picking up its first championship of the season and qualifying for the Middle School Championship in March 2017. The Threat defeated Hazard, Mount Baker, 8th-grade Sequim and 8th-grade Avalanche White to secure the championship. The Threat consists of players from Sequim and Port Angeles.
