Firefighters extinguish vehicle fires near Sequim

SEQUIM — Firefighters from Clallam County Fire District 3 extinguished two vehicle fires early Sunday morning.

A surveillance and patrol helicopter operated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security lands at Saturday’s Unity of Effort festival of military, law enforcement and first responders in Sequim. The event, hosted by Security Services Northwest, featured a variety of military equipment, law enforcement and public safety displays, food, music and other activities as well as a helicopter fly-in.
