The two spans, which opened this week, eliminate a long detour for users of the Olympic Discovery Trail by restoring the link across the river. An additional walkway, which is still under construction with an opening scheduled for later this fall, will link the trail to the outdoor patio of the recently-opened Dungeness River Nature Center.
