The Forks wrestling team had a remarkable performance at the 1B/2B Region 1 meet this week.

The Forks boys wrestling team celebrates winning the District 1 1B/2B Regional held in Adna this weekend. Forks had four weight division winners at regional — Jake Weakley, Hayden Queen, Sloan Tumaua and Conner Demorest.

Members of the Port Angeles girls wrestling team celebrate finishing sixth out of 30 teams at subregionals held Saturday at Sequim High School. The girls finished with 94 points and were just seven points out of third. From left, are Ada Oberwarth, Charlize Pasco, Kennedy Bruch, Shelby Moore,  Alexandra Morrison and Heavenly King. Bruch finished second in her 130-pound weight division, making it to the championship round.
