The Olympic Crosscutters finished second at their district tournament last weekend in Blaine and will participate in the Washington State American Legion A State Tournament beginning Saturday. The Crosscutters will face Mount Spokane at 3 p.m. at Lower Woodland Park in Seattle. Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Jefferson County Parks and Recreation’s Summer Basketball Camp was held at Blue Heron Middle School in Port Townsend earlier this month. About 70 campers ages 5-13 worked on dribbling, shooting, passing and other basics while instructed by 15 camp counselors. A tournament wrapped the week.
