Olympic Medical Center to host community forum

PORT ANGELES — Olympic Medical Center will host a virtual-only community forum at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
CEO Darryl Wolfe will share a presentation on the hospital’s levy that will appear on Aug. 6 primary ballot.
The forum will allow residents to learn and ask questions about Proposition 1, which, if approved, would increase the property levy rate to $0.75 from the current $0.137 per $1,000 of assessed value and generate revenue for capital and operational expenses.
