Port Angeles Passover Seder presentation slated

PORT ANGELES — Paul Pierce will present “Passover Seder: Christ in the Passover,” a demonstrational class, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.

Pierce, a missionary with Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry, will present the program at Strait View Baptist Church, 518 W. Eighth St.

A Seder is a Jewish tradition that combines a meal with a religious service.

The Seder plate traditionally contains six different foods that are each a part of the Exodus story.

The program will begin at 5 p.m. with a potluck dinner, followed at 6 p.m. by the Seder meal and finishing with dessert.
