Jefferson County deputies help FBI serve search warrant in Quilcene

QUILCENE — Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies assisted FBI agents Wednesday morning in serving a search warrant at a Quilcene address as part of “court-authorized law enforcement activity” at various Western Washington locations and at least one other state, according to a spokesperson from the Seattle FBI office.

Ryan Bruett, FBI Supervisory Special Agent, wrote in a Thursday afternoon email that an official announcement with more details would be provided on Monday.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Sgt. Brett Anglin said deputies assisted with a search warrant that FBI agents wanted served in Quilcene. He referred questions to the FBI. Deputies responded with the sheriff office’s armored personnel carrier.
