Digging deeper garden series resuming in-person Saturday

SEQUIM — Keith Dekker and Gordon Clark will present “General Pruning” at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

The lecture is part of the Clallam County master gardeners Digging Deeper at the Woodcock Demonstration Garden, 2711 Woodcock Road.

Dekker and Clark will describe and demonstrate how to properly prune trees, bushes and shrubs.

They will cover pruning techniques for mounding shrubs, cane growers, trees and tree-like shrubs; the timing of pruning; tool preferences; and safety.

All attendees are asked to wear masks and maintain physical distances, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status.
