Two new Washington State Patrol troopers assigned to Olympic Peninsula

SHELTON — The Washington State Patrol has announced the graduation of 28 new state troopers from the 114th Trooper Basic Training Class.
Cadets complete more than 1,400 hours of training at the 21-week program at the State Patrol Academy in Shelton.
New graduate Simon B. Hovinghoff of Lyle will be posted to Port Townsend, and his classmate Vern R. Sanderson of Cheney will be posted to Forks.
