PORT ANGELES — The body of a 54-year-old man who had been reported missing earlier this month was found Saturday in Ennis Creek east of Port Angeles.

Yanzie Bollerslev, who would have been 55 in April, apparently drowned, said Sgt. John Hollis of the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office.

The Clallam County coroner plans an autopsy to confirm cause of death later this week.

Bollerslev’s body was found in the creek near Baker Dip. It was discovered by the owner of the property at about 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

Bollerslev had been reported missing by a family member on Feb. 3, said Hollis, who added that he had been living on a relative’s property in Port Angeles.

Clallam County District No. 2 firefighters assisted the sheriff’s deputies in recovering the body.
