PHOTO: Bless the Beasts and Children fun run kicks off in Port Townsend

About 75 people and pets start out on the first Bless the Beasts and Children fun run Sunday at Sunrise Coffee in the Port Townsend Boat Haven.

The half-kilometer event ended at the Pourhouse and was a fundraiser for local charities including the Port Townsend Animal Shelter, YMCA, Sea Scouts and Jumping Mouse Children’s Center.

The Church of BuVu was a nonprofit sponsor.
