Remembrance set Saturday for late tourism leader Diane Schostak

FORKS — An afternoon of remembrance is planned Saturday for the late Diane Schostak, former director of the Forks Chamber of Commerce and retired executive director of the Olympic Peninsula Visitor Bureau.
All are welcome.
Schostak, a longtime Forks resident, died at the age of 59 on March 24 while visiting her daughter in Bakersfield, Calif.
She was being treated for stage 4 breast cancer.
The memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. at The Roundhouse at the Kit.la Center in Forks, 100 LaPush Road
After the service, a potluck gathering is planned until 4:30 p.m. Guests are invited to bring a salad, side dish or dessert.
A sunset gathering at Rialto Beach is planned in Schostak’s honor.
A scholarship fund has been set up in Schostak’s name.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Peninsula College Foundation/Diane Schostak Memorial Fund, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles, WA 98362.
