BUSINESS BRIEFS: Forks restaurants to donate to United Way throughout month . . . and other items

FORKS — Forks eateries will participate in the annual United Way Restaurant Day, with each business taking a day of its own now through Jan. 31.
Each restaurant will donate a portion (either a flat donation or a percentage) of their day’s sales to United Way of Clallam County, according to a news release.
Participating restaurants include:
Today: JT’s Sweet Stuffs
Thursday: Golden Gate
Friday: El Pescado Loco
Saturday: Pacific Pizza
Sunday: Subway
Monday: Home Slice Take and Bake
Tuesday: South North
Jan. 28: Blakeslee’s Bar and Grill
Jan. 31: Forks Coffee Shop
Millet joins Wilder
PORT ANGELES — Dave Millet is the newest addition to the Wilder Honda sales team.
Millet is married with three children and a fourth is on the way. He was born and raised on a dairy farm in Sequim, according to a news release.
As a child, his father made the Milky Farms Ice Cream at their home.
Millet enjoys cars, all sports, family time and his favorite Seattle Seahawks player, Kam Chancellor.
