The Olympic Peninsula Rowing Association hosted their Inaugural OPRA Coastal Beach Regatta at Hollywood Beach on Sunday.

The Psycho Racing No. 151 boat with Kyle Patrick of Albany, Ore., driving races in the unlimited class at the American Sprint Boat Racing at the Extreme Sports Park outside of Port Angeles. A total of 38 teams from the U.S. and New Zealand competed in unlimited, modified and 400 classes in racing that was expanded to two days this summer. The Jeepers Creepers sprint boat driven by Dillion Cummings with Teri Cummings, both of Sequim, crashes out during a qualifying run Saturday. The crash caused injuries to the crew and delayed the race for 30 minutes as medical officials treated the driver and navigator.
