School delays due to inclement weather

There will be a two hour late start today for Sequim High School, Sequim Middle School, Helen Haller Elementary, Olympic Peninsula Academy and Dungeness Virtual School beginning at 10:15 a.m. Greywolf Elementary will begin at 10:30 a.m. There will be no preschool programs on delayed start days. Buses will arrive two hours later than normal.

Port Angeles School District will start three hours late today. Buses will be three hours later than normal.

Quilcene School, 294715 U.S. Highway 101, will start two hours late. Port Townsend school district remains open. Chimacum and Cape Flattery school districts have not announced a change.

Brinnon schools are now closed for today.

A repair crew performs work on the observation tower at the end of Port Angeles City Pier on Wednesday as part of a project to repair structural deficiencies in the tower, which has been closed to the public since November.
