PHOTO: Habitat for Humanity raises walls in Port Angeles

About 20 people raise the stud wall for a Habitat for Humanity home at 2311 W. 16th St. in the Maloney Heights neighborhood in Port Angeles Saturday morning. Volunteers — mostly from local churches and the U.S. Coast Guard — raised the walls on two homes next to each other. The house pictured will be the home of Michael and Lindsay Million, pictured far right. The second home, at 2315 W. 16th St., will be Emily Carpenter’s residence.
