What you’ll do
As a 9-1-1 dispatcher, you’ll work at the heart of emergency services. Your role is critical – you’ll field calls from individuals in crisis and coordinate responses with law enforcement agencies, fire departments and emergency personnel. Your responsibilities include:
● Operating advanced communication systems.
● Handling computer transactions and recordkeeping.
● Dispatching help quickly and efficiently.
● Thriving under pressure while guiding callers and managing resources.
Supported by experienced staff, you’ll receive comprehensive training to excel in this fast-paced environment. With 12-hour shifts rotating every three months, you’ll become an integral part of a 24/7 operation that’s always ready to answer the call.
