Meet the author

PORT ANGELES — The North Olympic Library System will host a virtual “Meet the Author” presentation with Sequim’s Bertha Cooper, author of “Women, We’re Only Old Once!” at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12.

Thanks to the League of Women Voters, numerous copies of the book are available through NOLS.

Pick up copies of the book during curbside hours at NOLS locations: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Locations are in Port Angeles, Sequim, Forks and Clallam Bay.

The book also is available to order from Port Book and News and Odyssey Books in Port Angeles, Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Phoenix Rising in Port Townsend will carry copies.

Readers also may want to pick up Cooper’s “Old and On Hold: Aging in Place during a Pandemic.”
