Ben Sweet, left, and Jim McCausland receive their trophies for winning at the Clallam County Amateur Golf Tournament. Sweet, a Sequim High School golfer, won the trophy for the best three-day gross score of 224. McCausland, a member of the Cedars at Dungeness Men's Club, won the overall net championship with a score of 204. Sweet and McCausland each won $375 cash purses.

Members of the Port Angeles Lefties chipped in for four days last week to help build the new Generation II Dream Playground at Erickson Playfield across Race Street from Civic Field.
