North Olympic Library System to host online class with Kate McDermott

PORT ANGELES — Kate McDermott will teach pie crust-making at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

McDermott’s class, sponsored by the North Olympic Library System, will stream on Zoom.

Attendees will learn how to make and shape flaky pastry dough and how make a lattice crust.

McDermott is the author of “Art of the Pie: A Practical Guide to Homemade Crusts, Filling, and Life,” “Home Cooking with Kate McDermott” and “Pie Camp: The Skills You Need to Make Any Pie You Want.”

Class size is limited, and pre-registration at www.nols.org is required.
